Dylan had it all!
Having a rich family was every single kids dream in his school, everyone wanted to be friend with him, everyone wanted to know him, be a part of him, be in his life. So much attention, so much fame, everything was so easy for Dylan. Whatever he wanted, it would be there the next day. Whatever he pointed at could be his if he really wanted. All he really need to do was tell his parents, friends and loved ones.
But no single person listened to his voice.
He didn't have friends in school, they all just used him for their own needs and he fell for it for 7 years. He got attention in high school, not a good one though, got bad grades, showing up late cuz he was scared of going there, got bullied of being a mistake( Ix ), sometimes could just leave the class for no reason and go home. He didn't like it at all. Everyone judged him for being rich, they said he was just not like the others. He didn't have fame, no one wanted to know his true nature. He sure could point out the things he wanted in front of his parents, but they only bough what was necessary.
Eventually at the age of 14 he started to be on his own, he was most likely always alone. Dad was busy with work. Mom was usual traveling which meant that Dylan was home alone with the people who worked for his parents. Dylan didn't want to complain about it, he tried his best to enjoy short 5 min moment he had with his parents each day. Sometimes he even got up early in the morning only to see his Dad from the window, walking away to the limo and was gone in a flash. He could only talk to his mother through phone which wasn't that pleased since she either were annoyed or tired. The only really person he got to talk with was an older maid who worked at their house.
What did Dylan do to keep himself out of trouble? He explored, skated boat on wheels and snow, he played bass and could even sing sometimes for himself. He played video games alone or with his maid when she got the time. It was almost like Dylan didn't even know his parents so he didn't rly feel like he had ones. The person he loved and cared about the most was his maid who showed up every Monday and weekends. His best day ever. Sadly, for a month she never showed up again.
She was gone...
From the horrible news Dylan tried his best to move one and enjoyed the simple things in life, just like she told him to. "Money isn't important, it can actually ruin someones life style" she said. Come to thing of it, Dylan started to wonder himself. Why dress fancy when you can wear baggy pants and a white T-shirt. Why eat at a big table when you can eat in front of the TV? Dylan didn't need the money.
What he seeks is someone who would like to hear his ideas and just listen what he has to say. Dylan doesn't have hard time to speak up what he thinks, the problem is the peeps around him who thinks his one of those high up kid. Dylan is nothing like that.
Living a rich life isn't easy, family is always away, love isn't even close, close friends have to either quite or move on to a better place.
If you did like to trade place, Dylan would be glad to do so.
